My name is Katie Devroy, nice to meet you. I am just your wholesome small town girl from Green Bay, Wisconsin. Though I grew up in the Frozen Tundra, I have never been a fan of the cold. I have always had a longing feeling for the beach and the urge to leave here and never return.

After graduating high school I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life, so I insisted on taking time off and not attending college. I did some traveling, worked a lot, and really got to know myself. What I learned in my time off was I wasn't going to get anywhere in life without a degree so I went back to school. So now as I am about to graduate from college I once again felt myself thinking what's in store for me ahead...
With a degree in Business Management with a minor in Hospitality and a Marketing degree, I knew Wisconsin was not the right place for me. So where was I going to go? I thought of all the places I've dreamt of moving and I started sending out my application to every job I could find in my field, and finally one hit! I opened my email to find my dream job...Key West Florida's very own Wedding Planner. I was in shock that someone even answered me let alone offered me a job. So here we are today about to pick up my entire life and move clear across the country; 1,800 miles from my family, 400 miles to Disneyworld, 270 miles from the nearest Kohl's, 174 miles from a Walmart, but only 90 miles to Cuba. So come on this wild adventure with me as I transition from cheese to the keys.
